2- Flexibility: There are many different variations (e.g. Dragon Variation, Najdorf Variation), players can apply different strategies.

3 Aggressive Counterplay: Offers winning opportunities for Black.

4 High-Level Usage: Preferred by Grandmasters.




Cons

1. Complications: Many of its variations are quite complex and require theoretical knowledge.

2. White Attack Chances: White can dominate with an early central attack.

3. Time-wasting Risk: It can take time to fully understand and learn the defense.
